Janelle considers your privacy and confidentiality of the utmost importance when it comes to family law disputes. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner registered with the Attorney-General’s (Commonwealth) Office, Janelle has statutory obligations to ensure your Mediation remains confidential.

For this reason, all notes taken during your Mediation will be destroyed at the end of your Mediation.

As Mediation is a confidential process, Janelle cannot be subpoenaed to give evidence about what was said or done in your Mediation,

should your dispute not resolve at the Mediation stage and it proceeds to Court.

It is important to note that pursuant to sections 10H and 10J of the Family Law Act (As Amended) 1975 (C’th), all parties to the Mediation are bound by Confidentiality and will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement prior to the Mediation commencing.
